Raymond Chan: "Bright, light straw colour, pale on the edge.  The nose is softly voluminous with good depth and intensity of white stonefruits and a tight, fine amalgam of nutty notes and minerals at the core.  This is fresh and elegant in presentation.  Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has finely concentrated flavours of white stonefruits along with subtle notes of white florals and a hint of honeysuckle, entwined with nutty and mineral elements.  The mouthfeel is bright and vibrant with fresh, lacy acidity and a refined, textural line balancing the subtle fruit richness.  This has good linearity and carries to a lingering, mineral nuanced finish.  This is a refreshing and elegant dry Pinot Gris with white stonefruit, floral and mineral flavours, and a palate with good intensity and precision.  Serve with Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese fare.   Estate fruit, vines 10 y.o., 75% clone 457 tank-fermented and aged on lees, with 75% clone M2 hand-picked and indigenous yeast fermented in seasoned oak, the wine aged 5 months on lees, the wine at 13.0% alc. and 3.8 g/L RS.  18.0-/20”
